Privacy Policy

Information we collect about you

None that identifies you. Fruition has no user accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for or collect your email address, phone number, contacts, location, or advertising identifier, and there is no advertising SDK in the app, so you will never see a tracking permission prompt.

Your goals and history

Your goals, plans, check-ins and your Orchard of finished goals are stored on your device. If you are signed into iCloud, they also sync through Apple's CloudKit private database so you can continue across your own devices. Your iCloud key-value storage also keeps the name you choose for yourself, if you set one, and a small flag that enforces the one-free-goal tier. This data moves only between your devices and Apple. It never reaches us, and we cannot read, recover, or delete it. It is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Coaching and AI analysis

Fruition's coaching is written by Anthropic's Claude AI models. To ask your questions, give your honest read, build your plan, write your daily notes and reminders, reply to your check-ins and read your evidence, the app sends the relevant information to Claude: your goal, your answers, your check-in notes and numbers, and the names you have chosen for yourself and your coach, so the coach can address you. These requests go through our own server, a stateless Cloudflare Worker that holds the API key and forwards each request. It keeps no database, no accounts and no profile of you, and does not build a history. Anthropic handles the requests under its commercial API terms, which provide that API inputs are not used to train its models.

Photo evidence

Photos you capture as evidence are stored only on your device; they are not synced to iCloud. Only if you choose to submit a photo for your coach to read is that image sent, through the same server, to Claude for that single read. The written read is kept on your device. Neither we nor our server store the photo.

Apple Health

If you choose to import a number from Apple Health as evidence, Fruition asks for permission to read only the type you need: workouts, walking, running, cycling or swimming distance, step count, or sleep duration. It never writes to Apple Health and never reads your weight. The number you import becomes part of that check-in and is sent to your coach for the read like any other number you log. Health data is never used for advertising and is not stored by us.

Voice dictation

When you tap the microphone to answer by voice, speech recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple's on-device recognizer. Your audio never leaves your device; only the text you then send becomes part of your answer.

Anonymous usage statistics

To understand where people get stuck and whether the coach is helping, the app sends a small number of anonymous events using TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. They contain counts and fixed categories only:

• that the app was opened, a goal was planted, and the questions were started, answered, finished or abandoned, with how many were answered and how long the first reply took;
• the honest read's verdict and confidence level, the length of the suggested timeline, and whether the coach declined to help rush the goal;
• that a plan was created, with how many milestones and actions it has;
• that an action was marked done, evidence was submitted (its kind, such as photo or number, and the read's result, such as on track), or a goal was paused, resumed, deleted or harvested, with counts such as weeks and milestones;
• that the Fruition+ screen was shown, where and why, and whether it was closed or a plan was bought (never a price), and when a free coach moment was used;
• how you answered a Lock Screen check-in (did it, not yet, or log it), that a weekly letter was opened, and that you asked the coach what an instruction meant;
• when a coaching request fails, which kind of request it was and a short error code.

TelemetryDeck's software also adds standard technical details to each event: the app version, the iOS version, the device model and screen size, your language, region and time zone settings, light or dark mode, accessibility settings such as text size, and the day and hour of the event. It also counts app sessions, how long they last, and on how many days the app is used.

Crash and performance reports

When the app crashes or freezes, iOS gives it a diagnostic report on a later launch. The app sends only a short summary through TelemetryDeck so we can find and fix the problem: a code for the kind of crash, or how long a freeze lasted (under 3 seconds, 3 to 10 seconds, or longer), and the iOS version. It never sends the report itself, the app's code trail, or anything you wrote.

What is never sent to TelemetryDeck: your goal, your answers, your notes, your evidence, your photos, your Health data, your name or your coach's name, or anything else you write in the app.

TelemetryDeck is designed to be anonymous: it does not receive a name, an email address, or an advertising identifier, and it replaces the device's identifier with a one-way hash that cannot be traced back to you and is not shared with anyone.

Purchases

Fruition offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Fruition+. Payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see or handle your payment details. Fruition uses Apple's StoreKit directly, with no third-party subscription service, and checks your subscription status with Apple. Whether you are subscribed is remembered on your device; on another device, Restore Purchases asks the App Store to restore it. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings.

Protecting our service

To stop our server from being abused, the app uses Apple's App Attest to confirm that requests come from a genuine, unmodified copy of Fruition. This produces an anonymous device attestation used only to verify the app; it is not linked to your identity.

Notifications

Reminders and check-ins are scheduled locally on your device; we do not operate a push server. The wording of your daily reminders, and of the reminders after a quiet spell (which can name your goal and your last step), is written by your coach as described above and then scheduled on your device. When you answer a check-in from your Lock Screen, your answer is sent to your coach so it can reply in a line.

Sharing

Your harvest card is created on your device. When you share it, it goes only where you choose through the iOS share sheet; we never receive it.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information. The third parties involved in running Fruition are Apple (iCloud and CloudKit sync, Apple Health, App Store payments and App Attest), Anthropic (the Claude AI that processes your coaching information and any evidence photo you submit), Cloudflare (which hosts our stateless request-routing server), and TelemetryDeck (which receives the anonymous usage statistics and crash reports described above).

Your control and deletion

Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you control it. Delete a goal in the app to remove it, or remove Fruition's iCloud data in iOS Settings. You can turn off Apple Health access in the Health app and notifications in iOS Settings at any time. We hold no account or server-side profile to delete.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
